Child & Youth Program Coordinator

Job Purpose

 

The mission of Army National Guard (ARNG) Child & Youth Services (CYS) is to promote and sustain the quality of life and resilience of Army National Guard dependent children and youth by providing secure, timely, flexible, high-quality support services and enrichment programs.

 

Child & Youth Program Coordinators (CYPC) operate as a youth subject matter expert within the state, as it relates to planning and delivering youth programs and providing relevant support and resources to Army National Guard military youth and families. The CYPC works closely with the Lead Child & Youth Program Coordinator, State Family Program Director (SFPD) and the Program Management Team to ensure youth services being provided meet the needs of the military population(s) being served and align with established national metrics of performance. Additionally, the CYPC actively works with the LCYPC to recruit, train, and manage a state-level volunteer team, as well as build local and state-level partnerships with youth service programs and organizations.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

• Must have significant experience working with youth of all ages – in both formal and informal settings.
Possesses an awareness of youth development and youth developmental needs.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive tasks, and experience with planning and operating both large- and small-scale events.
• Experience related to developing and implementing youth curriculum
• Ability to design marketing materials and publications.
• Must be able to complete program-specific reports and ability to successfully convey information in both verbal and written formats.
• Must possess a great attention to detail, an ability to analyze program data from multiple sources, and an understanding of, or willingness to learn about, the military and military community.

 

Qualifications 

​

  • Four years of college and relevant work experience are required.

  • Must have youth programming and development; in the absence of a four-year degree, two years of college and direct youth programming experience can be substituted.

  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, social media platforms and design software/websites.

  • Ability to successfully pass both state and federal government background checks.

  • A current and valid driver’s license and U.S. citizenship status

  • Ability to support program and position requirements which may require some evenings and weekends.

 

Travel Requirements

 

  • Occasional travel is required both within the state and nationally, as well as some evenings and weekends.

Personal Effects Specialist

Job Purpose

 

The Joint Personal Effects Depot (JPED) plays a critical role in the U.S. military’s casualty affairs and mortuary operations. It receives, safeguards, inventories, stores, processes, and ensures the final disposition of personal effects belonging to deceased, missing, or medically evacuated U.S. military personnel and civilians from overseas operations.

This mission is carried out with a strong emphasis on dignity, respect, and accountability, ensuring families receive their loved ones’ belongings in a careful and honorable manner.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

• Perform all tasks related to the receipt, safeguarding, inventory, storage, process, and shipping of personal effects.
• Clean and laundry personal items as appropriate and in preparation for shipping.
• Provide digital photography for documentation of personal effects.
• Receive and ship personal effects to the family members/next-of-kin of all military service members and others who are killed or severely injured worldwide.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Prior experience providing high level of attention to detail in a multi-tasking environment

  • Ability to remain calm during highly emotional or crisis situations

  • Ability to work well with others in a military/contractor team environment

  • Mature self-starter with compassion for members of the US Armed Forces and the families of those killed or severely injured

  • Understanding that the number of hours will change/reduce/increase based on the mission/operational environment

  • Secret Clearance is required to start

  • Prior experience with funeral/mortuary, military supply and logistics is preferred

Targeting Instructor/Writer (TS/SCI)

Location: Fort Gordon, Georgia (on-site)

Clearance: Top Secret with SCI eligibility (required at time of hire)4Role

 

Overview

 

We are seeking a Targeting Instructor/Writer to support the U.S. Army Cyber School in delivering and maintaining Joint and Service-level cyber targeting curriculum. This role supports instruction, curriculum development, and course maintenance aligned with Joint Targeting doctrine and Cyber Mission Force (CMF) requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

​

•Deliver classroom instruction supporting Joint Targeting Analyst (JTA) training

•Develop, update, and maintain targeting curriculum and instructional materials

•Participate in Joint Targeting Cycle–related instruction and curriculum activities

•Develop and maintain Electronic Target Folders (ETFs) and mission packages

•Support collateral effects and collateral damage estimation instruction

•Conduct assessments, testing, and after-action reviews•Maintain student records, attendance, and academic reporting

•Coordinate with Government instructors, developers, and leadership

•Ensure all courseware complies with TRADOC, USCYBERCOM, and Cyber School standardsRequired

 

Qualifications

​

•Active TS/SCI clearance

•Prior experience serving in or directly supporting USCYBERCOM or a CMF organization

•Demonstrated knowledge of the Joint Targeting Cycle and Joint Targeting doctrine

•Experience developing or delivering cyber or intelligence-related instruction

•Proficiency with office automation and knowledge management tools (e.g., SharePoint)

•Ability to meet Army instructor and classroom security requirementsPreferred Experience

•Former Joint Targeting Analyst (JTA)

•Experience developing or validating cyber mission packages•Prior instructor certification or equivalent training role

•Familiarity with TRADOC training development processes
